The Zeeman Effect is a phenomenon where spectral lines, which are specific colors of light emitted by atoms, split into several components when exposed to a magnetic field. In this experiment, we will observe how the 546.1 nm spectral line of mercury splits due to a magnetic field.

This manual guides the calculation of the Bohr magneton (μB) from Zeeman effect experiments, using constants like Planck's constant (h), the speed of light (c), and specific measurements of magnetic field strength (B), separation distance (d), and ring radii (R2k+ and R2k-).
